i'm guessing the person who sent it is the person who posted an ad in my name using my email address (sent to my email to be activated-naturally i didn't activate it) & then responded to an advert they probably placed, from my addy (just insert addy & submit response) disclosing info about me in 'my' response. In their reply, they asked how am I enjoying Egypt.
A week later the same occurred with a friend. They disclosed her phone no, & other personal info in 'her' response.

We ignored it, & over a month later, we get this email. She/he added me as a friend on gtalk-I declined of course. This person is desperately in need of attention.

So as sick as it sounds, it's someone who knows us. This email seems to have been sent to whoever was on the halaqa mailing list.

We really should just ignore this psycho-who may well be reading this.

Somehow, I'm sure it's some fool just bored with his life...

I have a number of concerns regarding this email. The first and most obvious is the ill-advised use of caps, which to me says the writer is more than likely a fuckwit who likes to shout. I would gladly contribute to the development of an autoflame app to respond to emails in caps.

Secondly, the incorrect use of terminology is suggestive of a degree of IQpaenia which is likely to be linked to a degree of bibliophobia. Are they lesbians or bisexuals? If they look slightly manly, does he/she actually mean they are transsexual or transvestites? Clarity please.

My main issue lies with the way the reader seems to have conveniently stumbled on the ads. I wonder if it may be one of these desperately seeking Shamila's who has drawn attention to the site by "informing" us of its evils and therefore casting a wider net.

Besides, if any of these Karimah Carpetmunchers or Shaheeda Shemales were trying to connect, I doubt it would be your deen they would be interested in.

I worry that men who like to watch girls who like girls like their boys are being left out. They are making us popeyes.

So now I have another group of people to ostracise. I cant keep up.
