Celebrate Islamic Relief’s quarter-century
Join Islamic Relief as they celebrate 25 years of service to humanity.
Islamic Relief South Africa has organised a series of stellar events featuring much-lauded home-grown talent. These will take place in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town, with all proceeds going towards supporting orphans.
Click on the banner above to book (via computicket) for the Johannesburg event on Friday, July 24 at the Linder Auditorium on Wits’ Education campus in Parktown.
The line-up for Johannesburg includes Zain Bhika who will be launching his new album 1415 with his son, Rashid Bhika as well as KZN nasheed group Waahid, who will be showcasing their new album Labbaik.
They wil be joined by nasheed group Nujumul Layl, comedians Joey Rasdien and Bilal Randeree and poet Farouk Asvat.
Only drums will be used for the nasheed performances.
Ticket pricing for the Johannesburg event is as follows:
Adult: R150
Students, scholars and pensioners: R125
Groups 10+: R125
Children 3-11: R 75

As seating is unreserved, the organisers advise the audience to come early to get good seats.
Segregated seating is available in Johannesburg and Durban, and Samina/Thamina (:)) assured me that married couples would be allowed to sit next to each other.
