touching base is not molestation

So, how are you?

“How am I what?”

How are you doing?

“How am I doing what?”

How are you doing at doing what you’re doing?

Seriously, I’d like to know.

Really, I do.

Leave a comment or pop me mail.

O gosh! this post sound like me… but between projects and more projects.
Its partially the life of a freelancer, where people don’t understand that you’re actually WORKING despite not being stapled to office hours. They teeter on the boundary trying to figure out how many questions about ‘work’ are too many, and how not to be infringing.
Some of them actually do want to know, while others clutch at straws trying to make conversation.
Face it, all these boring grownups in REAL time Fixed hour jobs, don’t get half the perks of freelancers …
hi, how are u, how’s work? – all forms everyday chat… but encountering a freelancer sets you apart from the boring working class individuals :P
