I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this concept somewhere before, Nando’s perhaps?
I hope you like this adaptation.
It’s something of a Mayet family tradition to have prawns for Eid supper.

Mayets are smart, like that when it comes to chows!
Had/ve a few flu-bugged patients at home, so Eid supper was a miss given we drowned out with meds. Next night though were prawns-catch up, and same for Sunday lunch!
I suspect the leftovers on Monday were deemed Makrooh? ;/ eeek!
Eat Mubarak! (:
No leftovers;)
My in-laws eat so much prawns on a regular basis that I’m pretty sure it’s gone beyond makrooh at this point
We’re having it on Sunday.
My in-laws do love having Mutton curry and apricot jam with homemade naan for Eid. Biryani for the evening.
And yes, the apricot jam is separate to the mutton curry, but we tend to mix it in on our plates. Lol. I found it strange at first, but I enjoy it now.
I can dig apricot jam with curry, I like sweet mixed with savoury.
oooooh i’m in love with the font in your photo – do you happen to know which it is?
